Our Kids courses are for Children older than 12 with minimum weight of 35 kg. With over 20 years of experience Kitemed is the right place to bring your kids to learn this exciting sport.
During the lesson kids learn the basics of kitesurfing under the guidance of a certified IKO instructor.
We will teach your kids all the fundamentals within the sport based on the IKO standards.
LESSONS GENERAL
- Private 6 hrs €350, 8hrs €410 or 10hrs €480
- Group 8 hrs €350, 10 hrs €400 or 12hrs €460

- No previous experience needed, only basic swimming skills
- Includes kite flying skills, body dragging, riding on the board, site assessments, equipment setup, safety checks, as per IKO Level 1-2-3
THINGS TO KNOW
- Each session takes approximately 2hrs and we can complete the course in 3-5 days.
- All group lessons are max 2 persons with shared kite/board and one instructor.
- Every Lesson has a pre and post lessons briefing which is given on the beach or at the school, depending on the wind condition.
- In all courses all kite gear is included. Just bring your board shorts.
- We provide radio helmets so you can feel safe at all times.
- Cancelation must be done at least 24hrs in advance.

All courses must be prepaid.
On non-completion of any course, you will be charged the highest applicable hourly rate, depending on the hours completed.

The International Kiteboarding Organization (IKO) is the biggest and most respected kitesurfing organization in the world setting the very best teaching standards in safety and progression using unique teaching methods.
Kitemed is proud to be an IKO affiliated Pro Kitesurfing School. This means all our instructors are IKO qualified respecting the strict standards set by the IKO teaching beginners to professionals.
All students will receive an official IKO e-certification online card once they’ve completed their training which is recognised worldwide.
You must reach the independent level to be able to rent gear.
