Learn to harness the power of your kite in the water!
It is time to get in the water and attempt your first water start with your IKO Instructor. You will now put your skills to the test and experience the full potential of the wind. You will learn to use the kite power to body drag in all possible directions, water relaunch your kite, self rescue, recover your board; and become proficient enough to begin riding on your own!
We will teach you all the fundamentals within the sport based on the IKO Level 2

THINGS TO KNOW
- Each session takes approximately 2hrs or 3hrs Group.
- All group courses are for 2 persons with shared kite/board and one instructor.
- Every session includes a pre and post briefing which is given on the beach or at the school, depending on the wind condition.
- In all courses all kite gear is included. Just bring your board shorts.
- We provide you with radio helmets so you can feel safe at all times.
- Cancelation must be done at least 24hrs in advance.

All courses must be prepaid.
On non-completion of any course, you will be charged the highest applicable hourly rate, depending on the hours completed.

The International Kiteboarding Organization (IKO) is the biggest and most respected kitesurfing organisation in the world setting the very best teaching standards in safety and progression using unique teaching methods.
Kitemed is proud to be an IKO affiliated Pro Kitesurfing School. This means all our instructors are IKO qualified respecting the strict standards set by the IKO teaching beginners to professionals.
All students will receive an official IKO certification online card once they’ve completed their training which is recognized worldwide.
