Πρώτος αγώνας του 3^ου Παγκυπρίου Πρωταθλήματος SUP 2016

Ολοκληρώθηκε με μεγάλη επιτυχία  ο πρώτος αγώνας του 3^ου Παγκυπρίου Πρωταθλήματος SUP 2016, στη Λάρνακα και συγκεκριμένα στο “The Spot”,  Kitemed Kitesurfing/Sup School, με την συμμετοχή 20 συνολικά αθλητών.

Με ασυνήθιστα ψηλές θερμοκρασίες 20 αθλητές συγκεντρώθηκαν στην παραλία από νωρίς το πρωί! Κόντρα στο κύμα και στον άνεμο όλοι ανεξαιρέτως οι αθλητές κατάφεραν να περάσουν το σημείο τερματισμού. Ανάμεσα στους αθλητές και ο 8χρονος Ηλίας Ολύμπιος που αγωνίστηκε στην κατηγορία παίδων και απέσπασε τα χειροκροτήματα των θεατών.

Στους Άνδρες, πρώτος στην κατηγορία 5χλ με  14”, Christofer Bullant, στην κατηγορία 12,6’’, ο Γιώργος Ιωάννου ενώ στην κατηγορία FUN 2χλ, o Dimo Dzhapunou.

Στις γυναίκες, στην κατηγορία 5χλ 12,6’’, πρώτη τερμάτισε η Φωτεινή Χατζημηνά ενώ στην κατηγορία FUN 2χλ, η Anna Koula.

Τέλος στους Παίδες, πρώτος στην κατηγορία 5χλ 14”, o Αλέξανδρος Βασιλείου ενώ στην κατηγορία FUN o Ηλίας Ολύμπιος ηλικίας 8 χρονών!

Ο 2^ος αγώνας του 3^ου Παγκύπριου Πρωταθλήματος SUP CUP θα συνεχιστεί στις 4 Σεπτεμβρίου στην παραλία Santa Barbara στην Λεμεσό και συγκεκριμένα στους ‘Windsurfers on Tour’!

Ο τρίτος και τελευταίος αγώνας της χρονιάς θα διεξαχθεί στις 18 Σεπτεμβρίου στο ‘Τhe Spot’ αναμένετε συναρπαστικός αφού θα αναδείξει τους πρωταθλητές σανιδοκωπηλασίας Κύπρου και τους τυχερούς που θα ταξιδέψουν με τήν Aegean Airlines στην Ελλάδα για το μεγάλο ελληνικό τελικό του 6ου Hellenic SUP CUP 2016, τον Διάπλου του ιστορικού Ισθμού της Κορίνθου!

The 1^st race of the 3^rd Cyprus Sup Cup is completed!

With unusual high temperatures, the 1^st race of the 3^rd Cyprus Sup Cup took place at “The Spot”, Kitemed Kitesurfing/Sup School, on the 26^th of June with the total of 20 athletes!

Paddling against the waves and the wind all of the 20 athletes managed to pass the finish line! Among the athletes the youngest one Elias Olympios 8 years old!

In the Men 5km 14” board category, Christofer Bullant hit the finishing line first, in the Men 5km 12,6” category George Ioannou and in the Fun 2km category Dimo Dzhapunou!

In the Women 5km 12,6” board category, Fotini Hadjimina finished first and in the Fun 2km category Anna Koula!

As regards of the Children’s Category Alexandros Vasiliou secured first place in the 5km 12,6” board category and last but not least Elias Olympios came in first at the Fun 2km category!

The 2^nd race of the 3^rd Cyprus Sup Cup will be held at the ‘Windsurfers on Tour’, Santa Barbara beach in Limassol on the 4^th of September!

The 3^rd and final race of the 3^rd Cyprus Sup Cup will take place on the 18^th of September at “The Spot”, where it all started! The third and final race of the year is expected to be particularly exciting since it will be the race to determine the Cyprus SUP champions and the lucky ones to travel to Greece with Aegean Airlines for the big final of the 6^th Hellenic SUP CUP 2016, at the Crossing of the unique Isthmus of Corinth!
